titanium tube
titanium tube has light weight, high strength and excellent mechanical properties. it is widely used in heat exchange equipment, such as tubular heat exchanger, coil heat exchanger, serpentine tube heat exchanger, condenser, evaporator and conveying pipe. many nuclear power industries use titanium tubes as standard tubes for their units.
production process
there are many kinds of production technology of titanium tube. here, cold bending process is introduced as an example. the process chart is shown on the right.

ii. technical requirements
1. the chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy pipes should conform to gb/t3620.1. when the prescription is re-examined, the allowable deviation of chemical composition of mingkun titanium industry conforms to gb/t3620.2.
2. the allowable deviation of pipe outer diameter shall conform to table 1.
3. the allowable deviation of pipe wall thickness should not exceed ( 12.5) of its nominal wall thickness. the allowable deviation of pipe wall thickness is not suitable for the weld of titanium welded pipe.
4. the length of the pipe shall conform to table 2.
5. the length of fixed length or double length of pipe should be within the range of its variable length. the allowable deviation of fixed length is 10mm. the length of double length should also include the amount of incision when cutting the pipe, and the amount of each incision should be 5mm.
